Drieam is an EdTech scale-up, passionate about developing & implementing software to enable the ultimate learning experience with Canvas. We’re with 40 young and committed professionals who constantly strive to improve the lives of teachers, students and staff all over the world. We work very closely together with Instructure, the company developing Canvas LMS. Canvas is the fastest growing Learning Management System worldwide. Our office is located in the city centre of Eindhoven, in a beautifully renovated building, next to lots of urban hotspots and great bars & restaurants.
We are at the forefront of international growth. We invest heavily in the software development of our portfolio of LTI apps for Canvas (www.drieam.com) and in Eduframe (www.eduframe.co). One example of our LTI apps is the seamless integration between Qualtrics (world's leading survey software) with Canvas (world's leading LMS). With the combination of Eduframe and Canvas, we help training providers and universities around the world to successfully address the rapidly increasing need for lifelong learning. We have successfully implemented our software at a significant number of (well-known) customers.
Now we are ready to really scale, and we are looking for a product specialist to help us make it happen! The initial focus for this role will be on Qualtrics LTI: our LTI app that seamlessly integrates Canvas with Qualtrics, already in use by around 40 educational institutions across the world. In the future, you might get responsibility for additional Canvas LTI apps developed by Drieam.
As our product specialist, you will join a fast-growing and ambitious team with a strong focus on improving our existing products to boost the adoption of our software across educational institutes around the world. Your goal in this team is to ensure the successful adoption of Qualtrics LTI by our fast-growing customer base and to manage customer success.
Next to onboarding and customer success, overseeing product development is an important part of your role. You identify & validate product ideas with various stakeholders (internal and external). Together with the product manager, you translate these wishes into generic, feasible, functionalities and guide our developers by preparing detailed issues. When functionality is developed, you are responsible for quality assurance and release communication to our customer base. Internally, you are the linking pin between the customer, the product manager and developers.
You have a critical attitude and are always looking for the underlying problem. You are able to find solutions to problems that benefit several customers. You are also someone who dares to take ownership of the applications we develop and you contribute to making our applications suitable for rapid international upscaling.
You are ambitious, enthusiastic, and very committed to be successful
You like to get things done and with your proactive approach you are the first to follow up on actions.
You have a passion for software, scale-ups & education
You enjoy working with customers
You have finished a bachelor program (for example Psychology & Technology or Computer Science at TU/e) with excellent grades
You are available for at least 16 hours per week
You are fluent in the English and preferably also the Dutch language
We offer very flexible working hours, but also require your flexibility to do for example calls with US during the evening
You are comfortable with uncertainty and see any ambiguity as an opportunity to build something. You are working independently and can set your own priorities. We manage on output, not input.
A job at a fast growing EdTech company
Opportunity to make an impact: be responsible for adoption and customer success of one of our fast-growing products. Of course you will be actively supported in this challenge
Freedom and responsibility to make a real difference. We don’t believe in fixed job descriptions, we do believe in best using everyone’s unique strengths & talents. Quoting Corporate Rebels: ‘sculpt’ your job based on interest, talents and strengths.
MacBook, iPhone and all the other tools you need.
Lots of personal development. Continuously improving ourselves is part of our company culture. You will be working closely together with the founders of Drieam, our product & UX and sales & marketing team.
A free and healthy lunch every single day
Mind-blowing team events (including our weekend off-site at a sunny beach after covid)
